Visa Run Tales

Today, I’d like to share a cautionary tale from a recent visa run which one of our clients experienced. A UK passport holder, upon entering the country, neglected to present their 90-day e-visa. Assuming they would receive a 90-day stamp, they paid little attention to the details. Unfortunately, they unknowingly overstayed their e-visa by more than a month—a situation that could have been avoided.

Lesson Learned: Vigilance Matters Unlike Lynn’s border run service, where we meticulously handle your documentation, doing it independently leaves you solely responsible. When conducting a border run on your own, take these precautions:

Inspect Your Stamp: Always examine your new entry stamp carefully before leaving the airport. Any discrepancies should be addressed immediately.
Visa Exemption vs. E-Visa: For nationalities with visa exemption from Vietnam, be aware that you might receive only visa exemption status, not the full e-visa you’re entitled to.

We hope this information proves helpful. If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out.
